Mr. Salum Mnuna is an Energy PPP Specialist with over 12 years of experience of private banking and public sector in East Africa infrastructure investment, and he has conducted investment analysis, Negotiations, project management, government shareholding participation, and financing plans as a government representative for over $3.5 billion worth of investment in Oil mid-stream infrastructure, a cross border, Eastern African Crude Oil Pipeline Project. Mr. Mnuna is currently working as PPP coordinator for the Ministry of Energy overseeing and advising the Ministry on the Matter related to Energy PPP investment, He is championing Energy PPP development in the Ministry of Energy as guided by various government Strategic visions and goals for Energy development and its contribution to the National development agenda. He had the same role when serving the Ministry of Energy and Minerals before they were split into two independent Ministries in the year 2017. Before joining the government, Mr . Mnuna worked for National Microfinance Bank and he had assumed various roles in the bank including lending SMEs and digital banking development. Mr. Mnuna has spoken at various international conferences in Oil and Gas investment and local content development in Africa.

He went for special pieces of training in PPP management studies in America and attended Energy and Mineral Economics Certificate at Australian National University in Canberra and Pretoria university in South Africa. He previously studied and lived in Finland doing bachelor of Business information Technology at Helia-Haaga University Of applied science Helsinki. Partly his studies were done in England, Southampton Solent University as part of the Erasmus exchange program. Later he joined Mzumbe University Dar es Salaam Campus for Master of Business Administration corporate management and graduated in the year 2012. He is currently based in Dodoma; the capital city of the united republic of Tanzania and he works for the Government of Tanzania Ministry of Energy. Mr. Mnuna also appointed board Director of Petroleum bulk procurement Agency for the two consecutive terms of three years each.

Mr. Mnuna is an Energy, business and Technology development Expert and a freelance writer, with an enthusiasm for bridging the natural resources economic gaps between host countries and international investors through win-win negotiations principals and deployment of the technology.
